The company xAI is actively preparing major updates for its product Grok. One of the key innovations will be an updated roadmap, which includes the rapid release of Grok 3.5. This version is expected to significantly improve the model’s capabilities. In addition, work is already underway on Grok 4, which is scheduled for release at the end of this year.
On the functionality front, the mobile app will be enhanced to support the Vision feature in voice mode. Users will be able to share their cameras or grant Grok access to them. This functionality will work similarly to features already available in products such as the voice mode of ChatGPT or Gemini Live.
For Grok’s web version, xAI is actively developing the ability to link to previous conversations. This will allow Grok to recall and reference earlier chats, a feature already implemented in ChatGPT and Gemini. Additionally, integration with Google Drive is underway, which will help close another functionality gap.
A new image editing tool is also in development. Users will be able to upload images, specify or select certain aspects of their request, such as the desired style, and use Grok’s image generation capabilities for corresponding edits.
