Telegram has announced a partnership with xAI to integrate the AI model Grok into all Telegram applications for one year. The deal is valued at three hundred million dollars in cash and stock. Telegram will also receive fifty percent of the revenue from xAI subscriptions made through the app.

Starting this summer, Telegram users will be able to use Grok directly in the search bar, pin it at the top of chats, and interact with it in both private and group conversations. The model will provide text writing suggestions, summarize chats, links, and documents, assist with group moderation, and answer business questions. Creating stickers and avatars with Grok will also be available.
The Grok model is planned to be made available to all Telegram users, although some additional features may remain for Telegram Premium subscribers. The integration will not require a separate download — the model will work in both mobile and desktop versions of the app.
Thanks to this collaboration, Telegram gains new revenue streams and expands functionality for over one billion users. For xAI, this allows the Grok model to reach a significantly wider audience and improve its position in the AI chat market.
