Pinterest announced new AI-based features that will make boards more personalized for users. Among the novelties are “Styled for you,” which allows creating collages from clothing and accessories from saved pins, and “Boards made for you” – boards formed with the help of AI and editorial selection.
“Styled for you” collages help combine different items to create new looks according to individual style. Users can click on elements in the collage and view AI recommendations for pairing with other saved pins. The “Boards made for you” feature offers boards with fashion trends, weekly outfit ideas, and shopping items that will appear in the feed and inbox.
The new features are initially being tested in the US and Canada, with a broader rollout planned for the coming months. Pinterest is also preparing additional tabs for convenient pin organization: “Make It Yours” selects fashion and home decor items based on saved pins, “More Ideas” offers similar pins in beauty, recipes, and art categories, and “All Saves” allows quick access to all saved pins.
According to the company, these updates aim to help users not only save ideas but also find inspiration and products that match their tastes more easily. Pinterest continues to implement AI as an assistant in creating personalized shopping and discovering new ideas.
