Adobe announced the integration of a new AI model from Google called “Nano Banana” into Photoshop. Officially named Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, the model will become an additional tool for users. It is designed for editing existing images, providing high accuracy and stability.
The first demo video shows how “Nano Banana” works with the “Generative Fill” feature. Thanks to this, users can quickly change or expand elements in photos. The model allows for a higher quality result compared to the current capabilities of Adobe’s Firefly.
The tool will be available in September, and users will be able to choose whether to use it when working with Photoshop. This expands options for creative image processing and gives more control over the final appearance of the work.
The innovation will allow for faster changes to photos and with greater confidence in the result. Adobe plans to gradually implement the model so that users can familiarize themselves with the new capabilities soon.
