Perplexity Assistant is capable of taking actions in several apps simultaneously. Currently, the assistant supports apps such as Spotify, YouTube, and Uber, as well as email and messengers.
To activate Perplexity Assistant, users can replace the default assistant on their phone with Perplexity via the app. For now, this assistant is available only for Android , but the company plans to expand availability if Apple grants the necessary permissions.
Perplexity Assistant is free for users in fifteen languages, including English, Spanish, French, and German. The company continues to work on expanding functionality and support for other apps.
