OpenAI decided to smooth things over for ChatGPT Plus users by giving them unlimited access to the Sora video generator. Previously, subscribers could only create 50 short videos in the lowest quality, while all the cooler features were reserved for the Pro subscription at $200.
Now the restrictions have been lifted, albeit temporarily. You can generate as many videos as you want, even if you’ve run out of credits.
Nice? Absolutely. But there’s a small catch: this is only for the holiday period. No one knows when this will end, but it seems the “party’s over” moment will come sooner or later.
