OpenAI introduced a new subscription plan for ChatGPT — ChatGPT Pro, priced at $200 per month. This plan provides unlimited access to all OpenAI models, including the full version of the “reasoning” o1 model.
According to Jason Wei, a member of OpenAI’s technical staff, “the ChatGPT Pro audience consists of power users who already push the models to their limits in tasks such as math, programming, and writing.”
The new o1 version, which replaces o1-preview, is capable of handling tasks with images and has been trained to be more concise, improving response times. According to OpenAI’s internal tests, o1 reduces “major mistakes” on “complex real-world questions” by 34% compared to the previous version.
