OpenAI has introduced a new feature for ChatGPT — Advanced Voice Mode, which enables real-time video and voice processing. This feature allows users to turn on their device’s camera and show the chatbot everything happening around them. Users can ask questions based on what’s in the frame — for example, while making coffee, the bot can explain the process in detail.
All Team and most Plus & Pro users should have access within the next week in the latest version of the ChatGPT mobile app.

Additionally, you can share your screen with ChatGPT, allowing the chatbot to see everything happening on your device’s display and respond to contextual questions. For example, when opening a messenger, the chatbot can help you compose a reply to a message.
The new feature will be available to ChatGPT Plus and Pro plan users as early as next week. For business and education, this innovation will become available at the beginning of 2025. Meanwhile, users from the European Union, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein will not have access to this update yet.
