Nvidia has announced the launch of a new tool for developers that allows images to be generated using generative AI based on three-dimensional scenes. The tool, called “AI Blueprint for 3D-guided generative AI,” is already available for download on computers with Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics cards or more powerful ones. The system works in conjunction with the Blender 3D modeling software and the FLUX.1 image generator from Black Forest Lab.

Users can first create a scene in Blender using simple 3D objects—buildings, plants, animals, or vehicles. This scene is then used as the basis for generating a two-dimensional image. This approach enables more precise control over object placement, perspective, and details, without relying solely on text prompts.
Even if the 3D objects lack detail, the tool uses them only as a blueprint for the future image. This allows users to achieve the desired result faster, avoiding numerous attempts with text descriptions.
Nvidia notes that its “blueprints” are ready-made, customizable AI workflows that help developers create generative AI applications. The package provides users with step-by-step documentation, sample resources, and a pre-configured environment for working with the tool.
