On the LM Arena platform, users have discovered a new model called Chocolate, which significantly outperforms most existing models. This has sparked active discussions about its origin. Alongside Chocolate, another model — Kiwi — has also attracted attention. The lack of information about the creators of these models makes their identification more difficult, as they appear to be deliberately protected.
The main theory is that these models could be Grok 3 and Grok 3 Mini. Speculation began after Elon Musk shared prompts allegedly generated by Grok 3, and users started comparing them to responses from Chocolate and Kiwi.
One particularly interesting behavior of one of the models is its ability to generate SVG. In one case, it started responding exclusively in SVG format, even when asked to provide text. It seemed as if the model decided this was the most efficient way to communicate, trying to influence how its responses are processed on the LM Arena platform.
Another unique feature is its approach to image creation. For example, when asked to depict a robot, the model adds components gradually, as if considering each element before adding it. Such structured generation, where the model can instantly change a specific part of the image, is rare among other models. All this fuels interest in what exactly these mysterious models represent.
