Recently, a number of new experimental models have appeared on the lmarena platform. The first among them is the Anonymous Chatbot, a name previously used by OpenAI for their experimental models. Some users report changes in the model’s responses on ChatGPT, which may indicate an update to 4o from November 11. However, it’s possible that this model is something more advanced.
In addition, Google has introduced two new models. The first, called Secret Chatbot, is identified as Gemini and reportedly demonstrates high performance. This may be a larger version of the experimental model released last week. Google hints that the official release will take place next week. “Gemini-exp-1114 is now available via the Gemini API, happy building / testing!” writes Logan Kilpatrick on Twitter.
The second model from Google is called Mystery Gemini 3. Unlike Secret Chatbot, it does not seem to show such impressive results. Overall, Google is testing a wide range of experimental models on lmarena, making it difficult to determine whether any of them are outstanding or represent significant achievements.
For those who haven’t heard of lmarena, it’s a platform for testing language models, where experimental models are added anonymously and may randomly appear in Battle mode.
