The company has already succeeded in bringing third-party games to its platform, such as Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition. However, it is still unclear how generative AI will be used in Netflix’s internal studios.
Other major developers are also actively exploring the possibilities of AI. Electronic Arts and Ubisoft have already announced their plans to integrate AI into their games. However, there are still no examples of major projects that significantly rely on generative AI tools. Netflix aims to be at the forefront of this technological transformation.
