Moonshot AI has announced the release of an updated version of its AI assistant, Kimi k1.5. This update adds several new features aimed at improving accessibility and functionality across various fields. Kimi k1.5 is available for free and without limits on the service’s website.

Key improvements include real-time search, the ability to analyze up to fifty files simultaneously—including PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and images. Kimi k1.5 also supports enhanced logical reasoning. English language support has been added, as well as an easy model-switching feature.
Moonshot AI, founded in Beijing by AI researcher Zhilin Yang, is known for its focus on long-context processing and multimodal logical reasoning. Kimi models are constantly pushing the boundaries of what large language models can do.
