Reddit users noticed updates on the Mistral Le Platforme limitations page, where three new models appeared: Mistral Large 2411, Pixtral Large 2411, and Mistral Moderation 2411. Mistral Large 2411 is likely the multimodal Large 2.1 model previously discovered in the codebase. Pixtral Large 2411 may be an expanded version of Pixtral 12B, Mistral’s first multimodal model capable of processing both text and images. Mistral Moderation 2411 is probably intended for content moderation tasks. These updates indicate that Mistral AI is preparing to release new models, possibly as soon as next week.
At the same time, Le Chat users noticed that responses are now being generated by a model called Pandragon. Previously, this model was identified as a multimodal system from Mistral AI, which in the future will be able to interact with tools for image generation and web browsing.
