Mistral AI has introduced a new feature called Libraries, which allows users to create libraries with a specific set of files. Currently, only PDF files are supported, but there are plans to add support for other file types in the future, such as images or code files.

Users can already upload and tag files, although processing will only occur after the feature is fully launched. Additionally, there is an “Index Website” button, which is currently inactive but hints at the possibility of indexing website content in the future, similar to the functionality of NotebookLM.
An interesting feature is the ability to share created libraries with other users. This opens up new use cases, especially when libraries become available for Agents — another feature currently in development as part of an update for a solution similar to custom GPTs.
The Libraries feature also includes a toggle in the Prompt Composer, allowing users to select one of the created libraries for use in their queries, making interaction with AI even more convenient and efficient.
