The company Mistral AI continues to improve its user interface, introducing several notable updates. Recently, the user profile was moved to the top of the navigation bar, next to a new chat button. Also, when using tools such as image generation or search, the system now displays the time spent processing each request.
Hidden features are appearing in the development stage. One important addition is the upcoming PRO plan. Currently, the free plan stands out as one of the best options, providing access to search and image generation with Flux PRO. However, in the future, the free plan may receive limitations, while the PRO plan will offer expanded capabilities.
Preliminary information indicates the following limits: ten web searches, five generated images, and one hundred messages. The frequency of these limits being reset is still unknown, but a short reset period could leave the free plan almost unchanged.
Additional improvements also include a new “Agents” button, which will provide quick access to view the number of agents created by users on the platform. Another new feature is the “More” button in the prompt panel, which may open up further integrations. Early signs point to integration with Notion, possibly in alpha testing, and more data sources for search, such as a fact-checking platform.
