Meta introduced new AI-powered video editing tools that allow users to modify clips using over fifty pre-set prompts. Users can now choose different themes, change backgrounds, or even alter clothing in videos using a simple interface similar to selecting filters on Instagram.

Among the features are transforming videos into video game or anime styles or adding desert or space effects. The model works only with the first ten seconds of a video, which is enough to create short, vibrant clips.
Edited videos can be immediately published on Facebook, Instagram, or added to the Discover feed in the Meta AI app. The feature is already available in the US and over ten other countries through the Meta AI app, the Meta.AI website, and the Edits application.
Currently, only pre-set prompts are available to users, but the company plans to add the ability to use custom text prompts for video editing with AI by the end of this year. The service is free for a limited time.
