The French company Mistral AI announced the launch of two new features in the chatbot Le Chat. Users will now be able to connect Le Chat to over 20 external platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, Pinecone, Notion, Box, GitHub, Asana, Jira, Stripe, and Zapier. The integrations are based on the Model Context Protocol standard, which allows searching and analyzing data directly from Le Chat, creating tasks in Jira or Asana, and building complex automated workflows.
Users can expand Le Chat’s capabilities by adding their own MCP connectors to support internal company tools. The system supports role-based access control and allows self-installation, suitable for organizations with heightened security requirements.
The second key innovation is the introduction of the “Memories” feature, which allows storing important information from previous conversations. The chatbot can now consider user preferences and past decisions to provide more relevant responses and personalized recommendations during new sessions. Saved records can be edited or deleted at any time, and imported from ChatGPT.
According to the company, only relevant data is stored in memory, while temporary or sensitive information is ignored. This is intended to reduce the risk of misusing context in professional communication. The new features are already available to all Le Chat users regardless of the plan.
