The company Hugging Face has introduced a new AI tool for working with spreadsheets called “Sheets”. Unlike well-known services like Google Sheets, this development is aimed at users without technical training and allows creating tables using simple text queries.
Key features include the quick formation of large tables based on both short and detailed queries, as well as uploading documents to analyze the frequency of certain keywords. Users can customize queries separately for each column, enabling them to verify AI-generated results for different scenarios simultaneously.
The platform integrates with web search, allowing it to regularly update data and reduce the likelihood of erroneous results. “Sheets” also allows connecting other applications so that users can analyze their data in more detail or embed created tables into existing workflows.
The product is available for free and does not require special knowledge, while its intuitive interface and natural language support make using AI for data work convenient for a wide range of users.
