The company xAI is preparing to launch a new “Imagine” feature on the web client Grok, which is already available to mobile users. “Imagine” allows users to view a gallery of AI-generated images and videos, as well as create their own works and convert images into videos. On the web version, this feature will appear as a separate section, enabling easy switching between communication and creative projects.
The gallery will be accessible from the main menu of the Grok web client, simplifying the search and use of visual materials. Creative industry professionals, content creators, and anyone interested in generative AI will gain an expanded set of tools for working with media. Users will be able not only to view and evaluate AI-generated materials but also to create new ones and animate videos.
Additionally, xAI plans to add Team accounts for organizations soon. This feature will provide the ability to manage workspaces with separate names, saved chat histories, and shared projects. The innovations will expand Grok’s capabilities for both individual users and teams working on joint tasks.
Both features were discovered during the analysis of the platform’s test versions. At this stage, the “Imagine” gallery already has basic capabilities but still requires interface refinement before the public launch.
