Google has introduced two updates for Workspace users that enhance the functionality of Gmail Q&A and Imagen 3. Gmail Q&A now allows users to quickly insert answers or content into email drafts. This became possible thanks to the integration of Gemini into the mobile apps for Android and iOS. Users can ask questions about their emails, find details, and search. The update makes it easy to add answers or content to a draft using the “Insert” button on iOS or the arrow on Android.
Imagen 3 in Workspace can now generate images of people. This feature is available in Gemini apps, Gemini Advanced, as well as in the side panel of Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides, and Gmail. In Google Docs, the “Help me create” feature allows content generation, while in Slides it helps visualize ideas. The Imagen 3 update delivers more detailed images with better texture rendering and more accurate execution of user instructions.
These new capabilities are already available in all Gemini apps except the main app, where the feature is planned to launch by March 1. The Imagen 3 update on gemini.google.com was launched last year, and this week Google added new features to improve image detail.
