Google has announced the global expansion of access to Opal, its platform for creating AI-based mini-apps without coding. Now, Opal is available in over 160 countries, significantly increasing the number of users who can create their own solutions for workflow automation, data analysis, and content generation without technical knowledge.
Opal allows building complex multi-step workflows that automate research, generate reports, and help perform repetitive business tasks. The platform offers marketing templates that enable the creation of tools for blogging, managing social media, and creating multimedia materials.
Among Opal’s features are interactive storytelling, script generation, and voice-over synthesis for audio. The platform integrates with Google Sheets and other Google services, and also supports deploying apps on the web.
Opal stands out with its simple interface for users without programming experience, allowing for quick creation and sharing of mini-apps, for example, for education, travel planning, or content generation. Google plans to further expand Opal’s features, including adding new capabilities for AI-based agents.
