Google is preparing new features for the NotebookLM platform that will allow users to create presentations and infographics directly during work. Among them will be the “Slides” option, which will provide automatic presentation creation based on materials provided by the user. This feature is still in development, and slide settings are currently unavailable, but its appearance indicates Google’s intention to enable users to adapt presentations to their own needs.

“Slides” integrates Google Slides capabilities into NotebookLM, which will be useful for corporate clients and professionals who often turn reports or research into presentations. Additionally, the Nano Banana model, which previously demonstrated capabilities for video, will be used for creating images in slides, but here it will be adapted for static images in presentations. This will allow for quickly adding unique illustrations to slides without leaving NotebookLM.
The platform also expands the infographic generator by adding a square format to the already existing landscape and portrait formats, which meets the requests of users creating visuals for social media. Video reviews feature a new “Kawaii” style, focused on bright and colorful design solutions.
Google continues to implement generative AI in its products to enhance the efficiency of working with information. The new NotebookLM features will help integrate knowledge management and content creation processes, simplifying work for both businesses and individual users.
