Google announced the general launch of the Vids app powered by Gemini generative AI. This tool allows users to create video presentations using simple commands. Key features of Vids include automatic insertion of stock videos, script creation, and voice generation. It will be useful for turning support articles into videos, creating educational materials, company announcements, and meeting summaries.
Although the app supports multiple languages, AI features such as “Help me create” and the teleprompter are currently available only in English. The Vids rollout period began on November 7 and may take more than 15 days for some users.
