What would you like to see in the next Gemma versions?
Gemma was introduced in February 2024. The latest versions of the model support not only text but also images and allow the use of over one hundred languages. Google offers specific variants of Gemma that are specially configured for particular fields, such as searching for new medicines.
Despite its significant popularity, Gemma falls behind its main competitor — Llama by Meta, which exceeded one billion two hundred million downloads by the end of April. Both models are among the most widespread open systems for creating and using generative AI.
Users can apply Gemma for automating routine tasks, generating text, analyzing images, and creating custom solutions for their own needs.
