Google has expanded the capabilities for AI Pro subscription users in the Gemini app, providing them access to three daily video generations using the new Veo 3 Fast model. Previously, this feature was only available as a trial package of ten videos. Veo 3 Fast is a faster version of Google’s video model, creating videos in 720p resolution and allowing audio to be added to the result.

AI Pro plan users, which costs $19.99 per month, receive a thousand monthly credits to use various features in Gemini, including the new Veo 3 Fast. Each video generation in this mode costs twenty credits, and before the daily limit refresh, users can work with the previous version Veo 2. For those needing more capabilities, an AI Ultra subscription with a higher generation limit is available.
The Veo 3 Fast model stands out for creating videos twice as fast as its predecessors and optimizations that allow for processing a larger number of requests. Google also reports fixes for issues with random or incorrect subtitles in videos created using Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast.
In the near future, the company plans to expand access to these features in various countries and add the ability to create videos from images in the Gemini app, as already implemented in “Whisk Animate.” Additionally, developers are working on implementing a voice addition feature to generated videos and support for Workspace accounts.
