Google has opened up the opportunity for users to create three videos for free using the Veo 3 model in the Gemini app. The offer is valid until Sunday, August 24, until 10:00 PM Pacific Time. Veo creates short videos with sound and is currently considered the most realistic video model among similar solutions. Typically, access to Veo is granted only to users with a paid Gemini subscription starting at $20 per month or via API at approximately 50 cents per second of video.
During the promotion, everyone can test the video generation capabilities without payment. Veo allows the creation of videos that can be used for creative projects, presentations, or social media. Google notes that since the launch, users have already created millions of videos thanks to this model.
To create a video, simply download the Gemini app, use the Veo feature, and choose the desired theme for the clip. The service supports video generation with sound and also creates clips based on a text description. All videos can be saved and shared on various platforms.
Currently, Veo is available only to a limited number of users, but Google is considering expanding access. The company uses the promotional campaign to test the service’s stability before a wider launch.
