Google has introduced three new features for AI-based products Gemini. The Gemini app now allows uploading audio files. Free users can add up to 10 minutes of audio and use up to five prompts per day. Users with AI Pro or AI Ultra subscriptions can upload audio up to three hours long. The app supports up to 10 files in various formats, including ZIP archives.
Additionally, AI-powered Google Search has received support for five new languages. The feature now works with Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Brazilian Portuguese. With the integration of Gemini 2.5, users can ask complex questions in their native language and receive detailed answers during internet searches.
Another innovation concerns the NotebookLM service. It now creates reports in the form of blogs, tutorials, study cards, and tests. NotebookLM supports over 80 languages and works with various files and media uploaded by the user. Users can choose their own report format and customize its structure, style, and tone. The update is expected to be fully available by the end of this week.
