Google has introduced new features for Gemini AI users, especially for Gemini Advanced subscribers. These users can now upload up to ten files to their personalized Gems, enabling more accurate and relevant responses. Supported file types include PDFs, documents, text files, and more.

This feature is available through Google One and Google Workspace, allowing users to upload files from local storage or Google Drive. The files serve as a knowledge base that the Gem can use to answer queries.
Additionally, Gemini is now available to teenagers aged thirteen and older who use Google Workspace for Education. This update aims to provide younger users with AI tools featuring enhanced data protection. Education administrators can manage access through the Google Workspace Admin console.
These updates are part of Google’s broader strategy to integrate AI into its Workspace products. “This reflects Google’s commitment to preparing students for a future where generative AI plays an important role in learning and creativity,” the company said in a statement.
