A survey by Artificial Analysis among 300 developers and creators showed that most users prefer Google Gemini for AI image creation. The service leads in both personal and corporate segments. 74% of respondents use Gemini for image creation, with GPT Image by OpenAI in second place at 64%, and Flux by Black Forest Labs in third at 37%.
Gemini remains the most popular tool for image creation among private users and organizations. For video, Google Veo is most often chosen for both personal and business purposes. The data indicates that AI image creation is used more frequently than video and is more often used for personal rather than corporate purposes.
Among personal tasks, the creation of small, one-time projects prevails. 81% of users generate images for such needs, while 77% generate videos. For storyboarding, special effects, and short promo clips, more users choose video generators — 63% compared to 52% for images.
In companies, AI video generators are more often used for advertising than for image creation. Criteria for choosing models for corporate use include result quality, request execution accuracy, and lower usage cost.
