Google announced the launch of a new subscription plan, “Google AI Ultra,” which brings together the company’s leading generative AI-based products. For a subscription costing two hundred and fifty dollars per month, users receive the highest level of access to tools such as the Veo 3 video generator, the Flow video editor, and the Deep Think analysis mode in the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, which will soon be available.
The plan is currently available only in the USA, but Google plans to expand its reach soon. In addition to the main features, the subscription includes extended limits on the NotebookLM platform, the Whisk image editing tool, and access to the Gemini chatbot in the Chrome browser. Users gain the ability to use “agent” tools based on Project Mariner technology, including Agent Mode for task execution, research, and integration with Google apps.
Additionally, the subscription provides an individual YouTube Premium plan and thirty terabytes of cloud storage for Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail. The Flow tool allows for the creation of cinematic videos using Veo, Imagen, and Gemini models, while Whisk Animate helps transform images into short videos using Veo 2.
Simultaneously, the company is updating the previous Google One AI Premium plan, now named Google AI Pro. It includes access to Flow, early access to Gemini in Chrome, and improved usage limits for core tools. For university students in certain countries, Google offers free access to Google AI Pro for the academic year.
