Google accidentally released an internal version of its generative AI codenamed Jarvis. This product is designed to perform tasks on the user’s computer. As reported by The Information, Jarvis allows users to delegate tasks to AI, from shopping to booking tickets.
The AI prototype, known as a computer agent, was available for download in the Chrome browser extension store. However, due to access issues, it was unable to perform tasks when a journalist tried to use it. By midday, Google had removed the product from the extension store.
Google planned to officially introduce Jarvis in December along with the launch of its new large language model. In this way, the company intended to enter the market with a new tool for interacting with AI.
