The DeeperSearch feature is an improvement over the existing DeepSearch and introduces the concept of “presets.” These are configurations that allow users to refine search results based on specific criteria or contexts. Currently, DeeperSearch is set to a “default” preset, but it is not yet active.
The second feature concerns memory and personalization. Grok will be able to remember details from previous conversations, enabling it to provide more personalized and contextually relevant responses over time. Users will have control over this memory system: they will be able to delete individual conversations to erase the corresponding details, ensuring privacy and flexibility. Temporary chats will not be saved, which may appeal to users concerned about data security.
These innovations demonstrate xAI’s strategic direction in developing Grok not only as a powerful search tool but also as a personalized assistant capable of adapting to users’ individual needs.
