The company ElevenLabs has introduced the voice assistant 11ai, which operates based on AI and performs tasks via voice commands. The service is available in a test alpha version on the web platform 11.ai, where users can connect their favorite tools, such as Google Calendar, Slack, Perplexity, or Linear, and control them by voice.
11ai recognizes language, supports over 5000 voices, and allows users to create their own voice clone. The assistant can perform multiple actions in sequence, understands context between different applications, and works with connected services through the Model Context Protocol. This ensures quick connection to popular platforms and also allows users to connect their own internal tools via special MCP servers.
For each integration, users can separately configure permissions, choosing which actions the assistant can perform in each program. Platform features include voice and text interactions in real-time, automatic language detection, support for multilingual conversations, and working with external knowledge bases.
Currently, ElevenLabs is collecting feedback on the performance of 11ai, integrations, and suggestions for new features. The service can be tested for free by setting up language, voice, integrations, and custom usage scenarios.
