The company plans to release five code repositories that, according to them, have been “documented, deployed, and tested in real-world conditions.” Code repositories typically contain source code, as well as configuration files and project documentation.

In recent social media posts, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman acknowledged that DeepSeek’s activities have reduced OpenAI’s technological advantage and noted that OpenAI will consider opening more of its technologies in the future.
