OpenAI announced that ChatGPT has reached 800 million active users per week. This was stated by Sam Altman during his speech at Dev Day. According to Altman, today 4 million developers are creating products based on OpenAI, and over 6 billion tokens are processed every minute through the API.
The company is actively expanding its AI infrastructure and acquiring new computing power. In recent months, the number of ChatGPT users has grown from 500 to 800 million per week. OpenAI has also introduced new tools for creating applications within ChatGPT and building more complex agent systems.
OpenAI continues to launch new products. Last week, the company released a new version of the video generator Sora and introduced a related social network. OpenAI, in collaboration with Stripe, also announced the launch of a platform for agent commerce.
