Recently, Canvas appeared in ChatGPT. The idea looks great — why use an additional editor and waste time searching for previously entered information in endless chat logs? But, keeping in mind that this is still a beta, something here just doesn’t work as it should.
Canvas is actually quite raw. There are often issues with properly saving and displaying content. Sometimes large amounts of text are simply lost without warning, and adding new material can lead to unexpected deletions of already existing text. Canvas doesn’t always follow instructions precisely, sometimes summarizes content differently than expected, and doesn’t retain all original sentences.
I sincerely hope these issues will be fixed in the future. Because this tool is truly needed.
