Anthropic continues to enhance the writing style creation feature in Claude. Last week’s web interface update introduced improved description fields and interface components for style creation. Users are now encouraged to create their own writing styles for Claude by providing samples of their text or describing the desired style.
It is now possible to upload files with examples of documents, posts, messages, and more, which are used to generate these styles. Users are advised to upload several paragraphs of text from different sources, allowing Claude to analyze and match the style more accurately.
For those who prefer other approaches, there is an option to manually set the style by filling out a special prompt. Here, users define the target audience, specific voice and tone, as well as the role that Claude should imitate.
This update is expected to make style creation smoother, addressing issues users face with Claude’s current writing. It may lead to more natural and personalized results. However, the release date for this feature has not yet been announced.
