Anthropic plans to introduce a new feature for its chatbot Claude. It will allow users to communicate with the bot via voice in a two-way mode. In addition, Claude will receive a memory function, enabling it to store information about users and previous conversations. This was announced by Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Anthropic also expects to release more “intelligent” AI models in the coming months. Amodei noted that the company has faced enormous demand for its products over the past year. This has posed a challenge in providing the necessary computing resources. Despite raising $13.7 billion, Anthropic suffered significant financial losses last year.
Anthropic is actively working to keep up with its main competitor — OpenAI. The company is currently negotiating a new funding round worth about $2 billion. Anthropic’s valuation could reach $60 billion after this round is completed.
