Anthropic is preparing to launch a new model with enhanced thinking capabilities for Claude. The codebase already contains references to Paprika Mode, which is likely related to improved reasoning abilities. However, this feature is not yet operational.
The integration of the new model will allow users to activate the “Thinking” feature in the settings to receive step-by-step explanations for complex tasks such as programming and mathematics. The new model is expected to launch within the next two weeks.
In addition to model updates, Anthropic is preparing to release improved search for Google Drive. A new toggle will appear in the settings, allowing users to enable or disable integration with Google Drive. Users will be able to turn off this feature due to privacy concerns.
The company is also testing new scrolling behavior to provide a more comfortable reading experience. This change is expected to improve the readability of longer responses, which may appear thanks to the new reasoning capabilities.
