Alibaba has officially launched Qwen Chat — a web app for interacting with Qwen models. The platform is available through a dedicated web interface that combines functionality for various tasks, such as conversational AI, image and text processing.

Qwen Chat offers a unified interface for interacting with various Qwen models. Users can communicate with the flagship Qwen2.5-Plus model for general conversational scenarios. The Qwen2-VL-Max model enables working with images by understanding their content. The QwQ and QVQ models are designed for solving complex tasks, while Qwen2.5-Coder-32B-Instruct assists with coding.

Key features include comparing responses from different models within a single dialogue, uploading and analyzing documents with contextual answers, HTML preview, and analysis of uploaded images. Future plans include web search integration, image generation, and voice interaction.

Qwen Chat was developed by the Alibaba Cloud team as part of an initiative to improve AI accessibility. The platform is based on the open Open WebUI, emphasizing community-driven development. Alibaba’s recent achievements include multimodal capabilities and specialized models aimed at creating adaptive and high-performance AI tools.
