Adobe has introduced new AI-based tools for Photoshop that simplify complex image editing. The main innovation is the “Harmonize” feature, created based on the “Project Perfect Blend” experiment. It automatically adjusts the color, lighting, shadows, and mood of new elements to make them look harmonious in the photo. Users can choose from three composition options for the most natural result.
“Harmonize” is already available in the beta version of Photoshop for web and computers, as well as in early access on iOS. This tool allows for the creation of high-quality collages without complex skills, which was previously only possible for experienced editors. The new capabilities make working with images faster and easier for a wide range of users.
Adobe has also added an AI resolution enhancement feature that increases image quality to eight megapixels without losing sharpness. This is useful for restoring old photos and preparing images for various platforms. The updated object removal feature now more accurately removes unwanted elements, leaving fewer traces and ensuring realistic filling of empty areas.
Photoshop users can choose between Firefly Image 1 and Image 3 models when using the “Generative Fill” and “Generative Expand” features. Each model has its own style and approach, providing more control over the final image. Both of these features are already available in beta versions for web and computers.
Adobe is implementing a content credentials system that records changes in images and creates a chain of trust. This helps track how photos were edited. The company emphasizes that users must adhere to service rules that prohibit the creation of illegal or harmful content.
